Please be aware: As a User Experience Designer my clients are typically reluctant to post details of their projects on the internet. The following small sample of my work has been made anonymous. Please contact me if you have any other questions.

User Personas
& Scenarios of Use

Through a series of contextual inquiries, surveys and user tests, created five user personas to target and support core user groups for internet service provider. Used data gathered to perform brainstorming and ideation sessions with client to define personas and understand their place within the client product offerings.

Used personas to successfully determine features and capabilities of products, scenarios of use, text and terminology choices, as well as future product refinements and offerings.

User Research

Visited the homes of parents to better understand the process of saving, archiving and revisiting family memories (memories are here defined as items which serve as a memory trigger).

Uncovered deep seated passion and guilt about the what, how, where and why of saving these family memories. Observed a wide range of storage and collection techniques.

Collected findings implemented a prototype of a system to support the centralization of digital representations of important memories. Centralization was intended to increase utilization of the family memories and eventually storytelling.
